@docrings Hi there, is your indicator bar still showing a low amount of toner? I just refilled my toner and the indication screen still shows my toners as low? Any idea’s?

dottley18 has a good point — how do you fix the “low toner” display issue? That is important because refilling the toner yourself “may” not be efficient.
i changed the yellow and black cartridge in my CLX 3175 rpinter and the unti is still reading low toner, how to fix this?

Three years later, still on my original toner cartridges with light home printing needs. Would have spent $250 on dried out ink cartridges if I stayed with my old inkjet printer… LOVE this little machine that won’t quit!

where do you get a chip resetter?
@starstarstar42 – actually, you are wrong. On these printers the chip counts pages printed. At a certain number of pages printed (something like 1500 black, 1000 color) it doesn’t allow prints any more on those toners. The reset chip ‘resets’ this page counting after you power cycle the printer.

In my printer , only the black toner has the chip and it’s about 50% while the color cartridges are chipless and showing 95%. Is the chipped black toner cartridge controlling the number of pages? Can I re-fill all the cartridges and get the printer to print beyond 1000 pages after that?
Take the cartridge out and shake it side to side. It sounds like you poured the toner and never spread it out. Its all to one side!
@telx2010 . . . and it’s definitely more cost-effective than inkjet for normal usage.
@telx2010 Dude, shop around. All toner is expensive, whether it’s HP, Samsung, Dell, Xerox, or whatever.
Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for the cost of toner refills.
You pay £130 to buy the printer and then 2 months later they expect you to pay out £200 to refill it.
I purchased your kit, and I filled the yellow toner, but I still have these lines of void powder on the toner roller. I filled it up corrently but it acts as if there is nothing in it?
What can I do to fix this, I don’t want to buy another toner. Is there any trick to get the toner roller nice and yellow instead of having lines in it?
