If you can get a monochrome laser (new) for inexpensive from a respected brand. It will for miles, and miles additional in durability and lasting print vs. an inkjet.
Samsung is a good brand, there are others in the identical category of good quality just like them though. (Brother, HP, Lexmark, and so on.)

Volume is 1,500 pages at 6% coverage. So printing pictures will obviously shorten the maximum volume you can get from the cartridge. Some printers offer a high capacity cartridge. Any pictures printed will print out in shades of gray (monochrome).
Print speed is about 19 pages per minute but again that’s just for simple plain text at 6% coverage.
The 6% refers to the amount of information covering just 6% of the page.
Maximum DPI is 1200 x 1200 but that’s if you want professional print quality. You can get away with 72 to 300 dpi which will conserve your print cartridge as well.
Generally entry level laser printers print relatively slow, so don’t be surprised. Eventually, depending on your print volume, you’ll have to replace certain other parts which are feed rollers, fuser, and transfer roller. For light use that can be a number of years.
